Amplitude Launches AI Visibility to Help Marketers Win in AI Search

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — October 30, 2025 — Amplitude, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMPL), the leading digital analytics platform, today announced the launch of AI Visibility, a new capability that gives marketers unprecedented insight into how their brand shows up in AI search results, accompanied by recommendations on how to improve it based on a company’s actual data.  As consumers shift from traditional search engines to AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude—  or rely on tools such as Google AI Overview—brand discovery is being fundamentally reshaped. In fact, AI search adoption has doubled in the past year as more consumers ask ChatGPT or Claude for software or product recommendations than Google. However, these AI tools often recommend only a handful of products in response to a user’s query. If a brand isn’t listed, it’s invisible, and high-intent customers may go straight to competitors. Amplitude’s new AI Visibility offering addresses this challenge. It shows where a brand appears across major AI platforms, how often competitors are recommended instead, and guidance to improve AI search presence—all directly integrated into Amplitude’s digital analytics platform. And unlike niche SEO tools, Amplitude shows whether those AI-generated visits result in real conversions, retention, or revenue. “AI search is the new front page of the internet, and most brands don’t even know if they’re showing up,” said Tifenn Dano Kwan, Chief Marketing Officer at Amplitude. “AI Visibility gives companies a radar for this new reality. We not only make them aware, we also help them to take action to improve right away.”    Amplitude’s AI Visibility includes:  Visibility Score: Quantify how often a brand appears in AI responses across all major LLMs and hundreds of prompts. Traffic & ROI Tracking: Connect AI mentions to actual user behaviour and conversion outcomes within Amplitude’s platform. Prompt & Source Analysis: Identify where a brand is not showing up, uncovering the content and sources that AI models use to generate their answers. Competitive Rankings: See how a brand stacks up against competitors and where it’s falling behind. Actionable Recommendations & Next Steps: Analyse any web page, receive recommendations on how to improve pages, view simulated changes, and generate content to improve how a brand shows up across LLMs. Sentiment Analysis: Coming soon, gauge user sentiment about a brand across LLMs, helping to improve how it shows up. According to Gartner: "As generative AI applications proliferate and move from development sandboxes to mission-critical production systems, the need for specialised observability becomes paramount."* "Organisations are discovering a significant 'LLM visibility gap' where traditional observability platforms and machine learning monitoring tools fall short."* AI Visibility is included at no additional cost for all Amplitude customers across every plan. A free, limited version will also be available for companies that are not customers. Visit the AI Visibility landing page, enter company details, and receive a personalised link to explore results. Because it’s built into Amplitude, teams can connect AI visibility to traffic and conversions—no extra tools needed. About Amplitude Amplitude is the leading digital analytics platform that helps companies unlock the power of their products. Over 4,300 customers, including Atlassian, NBCUniversal, Under Armour, Square, and Jersey Mike’s, rely on Amplitude to gain self-service visibility into the entire customer journey. Modern IT environments are increasingly distributed and fragile, with nearly half of IT leaders reporting unexpected outages despite rating their resilience highly in this year’s SolarWinds IT Trends Report. SolarWinds AI Agent is built to bridge this “resilience gap” by giving IT teams an intelligent, context-aware system that predicts issues, automates responses, and reduces the cognitive burden on practitioners. Built on AI by Design principles and expanding the company’s well-known Secure by Design framework into the AI era, the new offerings deliver conversational, agentic AI to daily operations—enhancing detection, diagnostics, and remediation. The SolarWinds AI Agent: A Digital Team Member for IT Ops The AI Agent will function as a reliable teammate in observability, incident response, and service management, enabling IT professionals to: Resolve incidents faster. Amplitude brings behavioural data into AI tools with MCP launch

SYDNEY — October 22, 2025 — As part of its drive to make real-time behavioural insights available directly inside AI tools, digital analytics leader Amplitude (Nasdaq: AMPL) today announced the public release of Amplitude MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, as well as the open beta program for its AI Agents.   The news means companies can now access Amplitude’s trusted behavioural data from within the AI environments they already use—like Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client.   They can ask questions in plain language—such as “What features drove the most retention this month?” or “What caused the drop in sign-ups last week?”—and get instant answers based on live Amplitude data. That means less time switching between dashboards and more time understanding what customers like, where they’re getting stuck, and what actions could improve the experience.   “Behavioural context is one of the most critical inputs behind every great product and digital experience. The problem is, AI tools are only as good as the context they leverage,” explained Wade Chambers, Chief Engineering Officer at Amplitude.   “Amplitude already captures and organises behavioural data across the full user journey. So by extending this into MCP-enabled environments like Claude, we’re giving AI direct, governed access to that data. This makes the context instantly available and marks a major step toward the insights-to-actions loop becoming automatic.”   Innovative customers like Zip are already seeing results—scaling expertise, accelerating analysis, and uncovering opportunities that were previously hidden.   “Amplitude’s MCP is a real game-changer,” said Moss Pauly, Technical Product Manager, Data & AI at Zip. “We’ve been able to embed our internal domain knowledge—how certain events are used to drive complex analysis—directly into an LLM’s context and have it interact seamlessly with Amplitude. It’s opening up access to cross-domain insights that previously only a few specialists could uncover. It’s a genuine step change in democratising data across the organisation.”   Open beta: Amplitude AI Agents   In June this year, Amplitude launched a limited beta for its first series of AI Agents—intelligent assistants that continuously monitor product data, detect anomalies, and surface insights before teams even ask. Agents enable teams to move faster, scale decision-making, and transform analytics into an always-on system that drives growth proactively.   Rolling out this week, that beta program opens up to all Amplitude customers, with two AI Agents available at launch:   Dashboard Agent: Automated dashboard analysis Analyses dashboards and summarises meaningful changes in trends, metrics, and issues Surfaces trends that require immediate attention and detects key week-over-week or month-over-month shifts Performs root-cause analysis to identify segments or behaviours driving metric changes Enables follow-up analysis via natural language, generating new charts and answers automatically Pushes insights proactively to Slack, email, or directly within Amplitude Session Replay Agent: End-to-end qualitative analysis Automatically analyses session replays across funnels or event paths at scale Surfaces behavioural patterns, drop-offs, and friction indicators like rage clicks, dead clicks, and user errors Backs each insight with a curated playlist of relevant replays for faster investigation Shares insights proactively via Slack, email, or directly within Amplitude Availability Amplitude MCP is available today to all Amplitude customers. The Amplitude AI Agents open beta is rolling out this week, with additional capabilities and deeper MCP integration rolling out over the next few months.
