Saviynt, a leading provider of intelligent identity and access governance platform solutions, today announced strategic executive appointments that bolster its leadership position in the identity management market. The appointments include Tara Ryan as Chief Marketing Officer, Akshay Sivananda as Chief Information Security Officer and Sapna Nair as General Manager, India. These appointments reinforce Saviynt’s world-class executive strength and commitment to meet the market’s growing demand for its converged identity platform.
“Our funding in January has allowed us to make large strides in both our go-to-market strategy and deepen the leadership team driving that initiative,” said Saviynt CEO, Sachin Nayyar. “Having these leaders at the table is the next step towards executing our goals as the most comprehensive cloud-native solution to identity and access management. Winners attract winners, and we are fortunate to have and draw in that kind of talent at Saviynt.”
Tara Ryan brings significant experience building brands and delivering revenue growth for both pre- and post-IPO companies and enterprise leaders, including Coupa, Proofpoint, Zebra Technologies, Netsuite, McAfee and Deloitte. In her role as CMO at Saviynt, she will work with leadership on planning, creation and execution of global marketing strategy to elevate the Saviynt brand and support industry-leading growth at scale. Ryan’s ability to execute will be another value-add to the company’s ongoing campaigns and authority in the identity and access governance market.
"Saviynt is a leading global brand in the making. Much like Coupa, they innovated ahead of the category and now stand to replace legacy solutions with their converged identity cloud,” said Tara Ryan. “ I am excited to work with the teams at Saviynt and their world class partners to take the brand to the next level.”
Since joining Saviynt as CISO, Akshay Sivananda has been hardening Saviynt’s enterprise-level security strategies and creating a robust security team. He has decades of experience in many aspects of security, such as cyber defense, incident response, risk management, product security, infrastructure and cloud, red teaming, data protection and insider risk. Prior to Saviynt, Sivananda served as Executive Director and Global Head of Cyber Defense at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Divisional CISO at Capital One.
As a technologist herself, Sapna Nair brings over 26 years of invaluable experience building and transforming world-class teams at some of the most successful global technology organizations, including Intuit, ThoughtWorks, Groupon, Eventbrite and Epsilon. In her role as the General Manager of India, she will oversee the India operations and help deliver Saviynt's high-growth business strategy. She is recognized for her expertise at leading teams and engaging with leaders across multiple geographies and highly matrixed companies.
These appointments mark a year of rapid growth for the company, largely due to strong demand for its Enterprise Identity Cloud, a leading cloud-native converged identity ecosystem for workforce, enterprise applications, privileged and third-party identities.
In January of 2023, Saviynt welcomed back its founder Sachin Nayyar as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer and industry expert Paul Zolfaghari on as President. Nayyar led Saviynt from inception in 2011 to dominance in 2018 and has returned to lead the company in delivering its best-in-class identity solutions. Nayyar’s return, coupled with the appointments of Zolfaghari, Ryan, Sivananda and Nair, underscores the depth and breadth of expertise at Saviynt’s helm.

Nextdata, the provider of a data-mesh-native platform to build and share data products at scale, today announced it has raised a total of $12 million in seed investment, led by Greycroft and Acrew Capital, with participation from additional investors and leading industry angels. The funding will advance the development of the company’s proprietary data mesh technology and expand the hiring of critical talent across product, engineering and go-to-market teams.
The promise of enterprise AI and analytics relies on the intentional sharing of high-quality data across teams, but traditional architectures make data inaccessible or outdated. Nextdata CEO and Founder Zhamak Dehghani originated the concept of “data mesh” in 2018 to establish a framework for decentralizing data at scale responsibly.
Yet, without a native technology, organizations are building their own home-baked solutions that can be expensive and time-consuming. For data mesh to become a reality, organizations need to move past DIY solutions and automate the end-to-end process of decentralized data sharing in large organizations.
Founded in 2022 to take data mesh from concept to reality, Nextdata is building a revolutionary product – Nextdata OS – that removes the barriers to successfully implementing data mesh, focused closely on the domain data expert experience.
“Right now, the hype around AI isn’t rooted in reality for enterprises – despite decades of progress in data management technology, trusted data still isn’t accessible enough to support the AI revolution,” said Dehghani. “Decentralized data is the future, and Nextdata is empowering organizations to take the leap to data mesh with a new user experience data developers urgently need. We’re building a team of rebel engineers, data visionaries and problem-solvers to lead the movement to responsibly unlock data for all.”
More than a thousand companies have signed up for early access to Nextdata OS, and pilots with Fortune 100 global enterprises are putting data mesh into action and demonstrating how Nextdata OS can empower business domains to own, share and connect high-quality data in a peer-to-peer fashion to accelerate data discovery and use. The funding will serve to expand the company’s diverse, remote-first team to take Nextdata OS from proof-of-concept to market.
“I am proud to invest in Nextdata, as their data-mesh-native framework is pivotal for future-ready data organization,” said Amr Awadallah, founder and CEO of Vectara and investor in Nextdata. “Just as Docker and Kubernetes revolutionized app deployment, Nextdata will redefine data management."
The core of Nextdata OS is a new unit of data value – the data product container – that unlocks peer-to-peer data sharing at scale without compromising governance, discovery and quality. Data developers and domain teams can use Nextdata OS for end-to-end development and management of data product containers at scale, supporting AI and analytics use cases.
"Advances in AI have outpaced the capabilities of today’s monolithic data architecture, and enterprises that don’t adapt will likely fall behind their competition,” said Brentt Baltimore, principal at Greycroft. “I believe Nextdata has both the vision and knowledge to pioneer decentralized data architecture, enabling data management in the same way that APIs enable software. When businesses release data from siloes, innovation will flourish."

BeyondID, a leading managed identity solutions provider, today announced the industry's first solution that accurately conveys the true nature of identity within the zero trust security framework. BeyondID's Identity Fabric Model for Zero Trust promises optimal threat detection, investigation, and round-the-clock remediation via the BeyondID Security Operations Center (SOC).
"The Zero Trust Maturity Model by CISA has gained widespread acceptance and acknowledges the importance of identity as a pillar in modern security, but it undervalues the critical role of identity in ensuring security," stated Arun Shrestha, co-founder and CEO of BeyondID. "The effectiveness of your security posture depends on how quickly and accurately you can detect behavioral discrepancies, as recent high-profile security breaches demonstrate. Zero trust cannot be achieved without identity as the fabric."
BeyondID is the first managed identity services provider delivering a holistic approach to zero trust. Its Identity Fabric Model supports seamless user experience outcomes by implementing a strong digital identity strategy across the board from devices to network, to apps and workload, to data. This holistic approach ensures optimal threat detection, continuous compliance, risk mitigation, and a high return on IT and security investments.
The company also announced that it can provide organizations with the breach protection they need, including a service that can identity, isolate and remediate threats in as little as seven days. Utilizing BeyondID's SOC enables companies to get their zero trust solution up and running quickly, offering 24x7 protection from the persistent threat of cybersecurity attacks.

In the dynamic landscape of modern sales, personalization isn't just a strategy - it's a necessity. Today Regie.ai unveils a groundbreaking innovation that's set to transform how you measure and enhance your prospecting efforts - the Regie.ai SDR Team Personalization Score. With this revolutionary metric, Regie.ai is paving the way for a new standard of measurement for outbound prospecting.
A Crucial Metric in the Age of Deliverability
In today's digital sphere, achieving high email deliverability is paramount. Your sales emails must stand out amidst the noise, or else they can fall victim to spam filters. This is where personalization comes into play, forming the bedrock of effective prospecting. There are challenges sales teams face in maintaining a fine balance between individualization and deliverability, and that's the inspiration behind the SDR Team Personalization Score.
The Regie.ai SDR Team Personalization Score is a pioneering industry metric that quantifies personalization across your entire prospecting team. It's not just about individual efforts; it's about collective excellence. This metric is designed to provide sales managers with a comprehensive overview of how distinct and varied reps manual personalized emails are as a team.
How It Works
The SDR Team Personalization Score evaluates the entirety of your team's manual personalized emails. It assesses the diversity and uniqueness of the messages your team crafts, offering insights into the level of personalization achieved across the board. It uses the recently popular Vector Databases to find the closest emails to any given email extremely efficiently. This provides SDR managers with a proximity score for each individual email that an SDR has sent. Then Regie.ai combines this proximity score across all emails that every SDR has sent to arrive at its Team Personalization Score.
This data-driven measurement lets sales managers understand where improvements can be made in message relevancy and give guidance on how to optimize your prospect engagement strategies.

New research from airSlate, a leader in document workflow automation solutions, reveals that small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are ready and eager to harness the power of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to scale and compete effectively in today's business landscape. airSlate’s research, presented in a report, "Tech-forward and thriving: How SMBs are primed to embrace automation and supercharge productivity," proves that the adoption of automation technology acts as a dynamic catalyst, shaping their strategies, growth trajectories, and competitive capabilities against their larger and more resource-robust peers. The survey of more than 1,000 U.S. SMBs, conducted by Propeller Insights on behalf of airSlate, suggests that investing in the right business technology solutions and streamlining an unwieldy tech stack are essential to an organization becoming more productive. While tapping into a range of tech solutions, SMBs agree business productivity solutions are the most pressing, which is why document workflow automation and esignature tools are a priority. With an estimated 30 million SMBs in the U.S., finding one's competitive advantage is essential. Furthermore, with over 99% of U.S. businesses categorized as SMBs, the cohort has an extraordinary opportunity to influence and shape the future of automation. The Right Tech at the Right Price SMBs seek purpose-built and cost-effective tech solutions to optimize their operations, with ease of use and affordability as top considerations when making purchase decisions. More than half of the survey’s respondents are considering switching from their current document automation solutions in search of better value. They are focused on investing in quality over quantity and streamlining their technology stacks. airSlate's research reveals: The Benefits of Automation The majority of SMBs are optimistic about automation and its impacts, notably time and cost benefits. They believe that human interaction remains vital, with less than 15% concerned about job displacement. Low-Code/No-Code Potential While low-code/no-code tools are gaining popularity, over half of SMBs have yet to explore these document automation tools. Adoption typically occurs through external tech collaborators or internal "citizen developers." airSlate offers a suite of no-code products designed to streamline document workflows and democratize access to automation, including airSlate Workflow, airSlate SignNow, pdfFiller, DocHub, US Legal Forms, Document Automation Hub, and signNow API. Additionally, airSlate Academy provides free courses to support automation mastery. "Success today hinges on an SMB’s ability to employ highly productive, automated solutions to compete with larger, often better-resourced companies," said Shawn Herring, airSlate's CMO. "SMBs understand their customers expect a seamless, automated experience to drive their interactions, as do employees. But technology for technology’s sake is never a good solution, and our research indicates that SMBs need purpose-built solutions to help them grow and scale at a sustainable but significant level. The proper tools are necessary to achieve optimal business outcomes."Respondents rank business productivity solutions including document workflow and esignature tools as most pressing technology needs
