Yext Expands Agentic Marketing Platform for AI Visibility

Yext is expanding its agentic marketing platform to help brands improve visibility across AI-generated search and answer experiences while extending its technology to small businesses through a new product called Corvo AI.

The announcements accompany Yext's second-quarter fiscal 2027 results and are scheduled to receive further attention at the company's Envision customer conference on September 30.

Yext says the expansion adds brand- and location-level AI visibility optimization to Scout, its AI search visibility product. The company is also extending Action Center, its agentic execution layer, while piloting the expanded Scout capabilities with a limited number of enterprise customers ahead of broader availability on September 30.

AI Visibility Becomes an Operating Challenge

The development reflects a shift in search marketing from conventional rankings toward visibility within AI-generated answers. Yext defines AI visibility around how frequently and accurately brands are mentioned, cited and represented across systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

Yext says a Corporate Ink survey found that 88% of CMOs and VP-level marketers are being asked by leadership or boards about AI visibility, while only 34% of surveyed marketers have a defined AI visibility strategy.

The company is responding by moving beyond measurement. Scout can identify visibility gaps, analyze competitors and recommend actions, while Action Center allows those recommendations to be executed across listings, reviews, social channels and the Yext Knowledge Graph.

From Monitoring to Agentic Execution

Yext says early use of its expanded Scout capabilities increased citations by 186% for one hearing-care provider. The company also reports that the capabilities doubled inbound leads for a programmatic advertising platform and that Yext increased its own AI visibility by 147% in two weeks.

These figures are company-reported outcomes and should not be treated as independently verified benchmarks.

The more significant product development is the connection between monitoring and execution. Instead of simply identifying where a brand is underrepresented in AI-generated answers, Yext's platform is designed to trigger actions that address underlying visibility gaps.

That approach reflects the broader transition toward agentic marketing, where AI systems increasingly move from recommending marketing tasks to executing them within defined workflows and governance controls.

Corvo AI Targets Small Businesses

Yext is also taking the technology down-market with Corvo AI, a mobile-first agent designed for small business owners.

The product proactively sends recommendations for improving local marketing and uses Yext's competitive intelligence and execution agents through a natural-language interface. Yext says Corvo AI is currently available for free.

The move addresses a different operational problem from enterprise marketing: small businesses often lack dedicated teams to continuously manage listings, reviews, social content and local search visibility.

Market Landscape

Yext's expansion comes as marketers increasingly evaluate AI search as another layer of brand discovery. Yext's own 2026 research found that AI visibility depends on multiple source types, while its research into 155.5 million AI citations found that 80% pointed to sources brands could influence.

That makes AI visibility increasingly connected to data management, reviews, listings, content and social presence rather than isolated SEO activity.

Strategic Outlook

The competitive opportunity for Yext lies in connecting AI visibility measurement with automated execution. Scout identifies where a brand stands, while Action Center provides the infrastructure for acting on those findings.

If that model scales successfully, AI visibility could become less of a reporting exercise and more of an ongoing marketing operations function.

For enterprises, the challenge will be maintaining human oversight and brand governance as the number of AI agents and automated actions increases. For SMBs, simpler interfaces such as Corvo AI could make sophisticated local marketing capabilities accessible without requiring dedicated marketing operations teams.
