The annual event spotlights Vention's most cutting-edge products, all designed to support its mission to create a single digital industrial automation environment accessible to all manufacturers. Today, Vention has unveiled a transformative addition to its MAP, a fifth pillar, Operate.

The main functions of MachineAnalytics are:

• Fleet Performance Tracking:  Enables accurate performance tracking by identifying cycle start and end points in MachineLogic programs. The dashboard presents essential metrics such as cycle counts and average cycle times, while historical data analysis identifies trends for proactive optimization, reducing downtime and improving productivity.
  
  
• Fleet Health Monitoring: Monitors the health and health of fleet components, including drives, engines and control modules, and includes access to complete activity logs. MachineAnalytics streamlines the process, providing access to historical and current controller metrics, CPU usage, temperature, memory, disk usage, and drive temperature data.

Design with MachineBuilder

Vention introduced major updates to its 3D design software, MachineBuilder, at Demo Day 2023. These improvements increased its speed, navigation and user convenience, establishing MachineBuilder as the most accessible industrial automation design solution.

What's new in MachineBuilder include:

• MachineScope integration into MachineBuilder:  Vention optimizes project scope in MachineBuilder, consolidating design requirements into a single, easy-to-use environment and simplifying the organization of information for multiple designs.
  
  
• Connection logic for part placement : Manufacturers now have the ability to select from a curated set of part positions when adding new components to the CAD environment.
  
  
• Panel Studio : Allows you to create custom panels, including complex geometries with various hole types, with the addition of Smart Auto-Panel last year.
  
  
• XL Extrusions: Specific profile designs, including a heavy-duty modular extrusion for 20-30kg cobots, simplify assembly and configuration.

• Simulation : High-quality software programming and plug-and-play hardware are essential, but the greatest added value lies in creating a true digital twin of automated equipment. With MachineLogic's simulation capabilities, capabilities now extend to a wide range of industrial components.
  
  
• MachineApps : Vention's programming environment now includes MachineApps, purpose-built no-code applications that save users weeks of manual programming time. Agnostic applications for robots include an enhanced palletizing application, capable of managing multiple pallet bays with an integrated 7th axis.

Deployment with MachineCloud and remote support

Last year's Demo Day focused on simplifying the deployment of automation projects with MachineCloud, connecting the cloud to the factory floor. This year, we have expanded our deployment offering.

The main new features of MachineCloud are:

• 3-point robot calibration: When deploying, calibration with the environment can be a challenge. With Vention's 3-point calibration, users can now control the movement of their robot directly from the Vention keypad using Free Drive, making it easy to manually move and quickly learn positions.
