Stockpress has launched Content Portals, a new capability designed to turn digital assets stored in its Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform into curated, branded destinations for sales teams, partners, customers, press and other external audiences.
The feature addresses a common challenge for marketing, brand and creative teams: sharing selected assets externally without exposing an entire DAM workspace. Instead of distributing folders containing files, Content Portals allow organizations to assemble assets from across Stockpress, add approved brand elements such as colors, fonts and calls to action, and present the material through a branded web page.
The portals remain connected to the underlying DAM rather than functioning as static microsites. Stockpress says they pull directly from files and Collections, allowing changes such as new file versions or Smart Collections based on predefined rules to flow into the shared destination. This enables use cases such as living brand guidelines, campaign hubs and resource centers without requiring teams to manually rebuild or update each page.
The launch reflects a broader evolution in Digital Asset Management from centralized asset storage toward controlled content distribution and audience-specific experiences. Marketing organizations increasingly need to provide external stakeholders with current, approved materials while maintaining governance over the broader asset library.
Stockpress's own research cited in the announcement found that 53% of teams identify collaboration on files with clients, agencies and partners as a major challenge. The company also reports that 67% of teams have people working outside the system selected by their organization, often because alternative ways of accessing content are easier.
Against that backdrop, connecting curated external experiences directly to the DAM can help address both accessibility and content-control requirements. The approach also reduces the need to create separate repositories for different audiences.
Content Portals position the DAM as the system of record while providing a separate presentation layer for external content sharing. This distinction could be particularly relevant for organizations managing large collections of brand, campaign, sales and media assets across multiple stakeholder groups.
Stockpress identifies several applications, including living brand guidelines, sales enablement hubs, partner resource centers, campaign hubs and media centers containing approved corporate and product materials.
The company is also positioning the feature within a wider shift in DAM technology toward making stored content easier for teams and external audiences to discover and use.
Content Portals are available now. Every Stockpress plan includes one portal, while Premium customers can create unlimited portals for different teams, audiences and use cases.
