For small businesses, social media management can become less about creating content and more about repeating the same publishing task across an expanding list of platforms. SoMePoster is targeting that operational problem with a new scheduling and cross-posting platform designed to let businesses manage Facebook and dozens of other destinations from one dashboard.

SoMePoster, developed by Aalborg-based founder and SEO consultant Jesper Nissen, has launched publicly as a social media publishing platform aimed initially at small businesses managing Facebook Pages alongside other social, blogging and automation channels.

The company says the platform currently supports 35 destinations, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, WordPress, Ghost, Blogger, Shopify, Wix, Google Business Profile, Slack and automation platforms such as n8n and Make.com.

The central workflow is straightforward: users create a post once, attach media, links and hashtags, select their destinations and either publish immediately or schedule the content. Separate publishing times can also be configured for individual platforms.

That broad channel coverage is the product's main point of differentiation. Established social media management platforms such as Buffer and Hootsuite already provide scheduling, analytics and multi-account management, while Gartner's 2026 social media management research shows the category increasingly incorporating AI, social intelligence and broader execution capabilities.

SoMePoster instead emphasizes a lower-cost, wide-destination approach aimed at smaller teams that may publish beyond the largest social networks. Its official platform lists social networks alongside blogging, publishing, productivity and automation destinations, effectively treating social publishing as a broader distribution workflow.

The platform also includes features aimed specifically at Facebook Pages. Users can schedule immediate or future posts, configure first comments for outbound links and review up to 12 months of Facebook Page activity, according to the company. Its AI Studio can use previous performance data to help draft follow-up content.

AI-assisted writing is another component. SoMePoster says its built-in AI can generate captions, hooks and platform-adjusted copy based on instructions covering tone, length, hashtags and emojis.

The company is also experimenting with Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations. According to its developer documentation, users can schedule, edit and review posts through ChatGPT or Claude, extending social publishing into conversational AI interfaces.

That development is part of a larger movement toward AI-assisted social operations. Gartner says social marketing teams are shifting from predominantly manual execution toward human-governed AI orchestration and strategic content curation.

Market Landscape

Social media management is becoming more complicated as businesses distribute content across established networks and newer platforms. HubSpot's 2026 research describes a shift toward interest-based discovery, social search, commerce and customer service, while reporting that AI is already embedded in 73% of marketers' content workflows.

At the same time, cross-posting alone is not necessarily a complete social strategy. Different platforms have different audience behaviors, formats and content expectations. HubSpot's research has found that marketers increasingly need channel-specific strategies rather than simply publishing identical material everywhere.

That creates an important distinction for SoMePoster. Its value proposition is primarily operational efficiency: reduce repetitive publishing work while keeping more destinations accessible from a single interface. Whether that translates into better marketing performance will depend on how effectively businesses adapt content to each channel.

The pricing is also aimed at the SMB segment. SoMePoster publicly lists plans starting at $7 per month, with higher tiers adding accounts and capabilities such as AI Studio, RSS automation, comment moderation and assistant access. An agency plan is listed at $79 per month for 75 accounts, according to the company.

Strategic Outlook

SoMePoster's launch reflects a broader change in social media management: the publishing layer is increasingly becoming an automation problem.

For small businesses without dedicated social teams, consolidating publishing, AI-assisted drafting, analytics and account management could reduce administrative overhead. MCP support could take that further by allowing social workflows to be initiated from AI assistants rather than a conventional dashboard.

The longer-term challenge will be balancing automation with platform-specific content strategy. As social networks increasingly prioritize relevance and authentic engagement, the most useful scheduling platforms may be those that automate repetitive work without making every channel look identical.
