Sol, a vendor-neutral AI transformation firm, has appointed Dan Silberman as Head of Marketing & Communications as it expands its enterprise AI consulting business. Silberman joins from A+E Global Media, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Communications, following a career spanning television, corporate communications and public relations. Based in New York, he will oversee Sol’s brand positioning, media relations, content strategy, digital presence and reputation management, with marketing efforts tied to pipeline development and business growth.
Sol has appointed Dan Silberman to lead marketing and communications, adding an experienced media executive as the company expands its AI transformation and implementation services.
Silberman will report to Managing Partner Kaan Aslansan and oversee the firm’s marketing and communications activities, including brand positioning, earned media, thought leadership, digital presence, internal communications and reputation management. The company says the role will connect these functions more directly to pipeline generation and growth.
The appointment comes as Sol builds its presence in enterprise AI, including agentic AI systems, workflow modernization and workforce transformation. The firm positions itself as a vendor-neutral partner that helps organizations move from AI strategy to implementation rather than stopping at recommendations or pilot projects.
Silberman’s experience in media communications could support that positioning. At A+E Global Media, he led media relations, corporate and internal communications, crisis management, social strategy and talent relations across brands including The HISTORY Channel, A&E Network, A+E Factual Studios and A&E IndieFilms.
The company says those brands collectively reached more than 400 million households across 200 territories. Before A+E, Silberman worked at NBCUniversal, where he led press and publicity for Bravo Media. His work included a network rebrand and publicity for programs such as Queer Eye and Project Runway.
Sol’s appointment follows a period of expansion in its AI consulting operations. The company has established an AI Acceleration practice under Steve Miller, formerly Chief Digital Officer at Xerox, with former Xerox CEO Steven Bandrowczak serving as senior advisor.
Sol says the practice takes clients from initial assessment to deployed agentic systems. The firm has also launched an industry-focused Media, Entertainment and AdTech practice led by Ashley J. Swartz, reflecting an effort to align its services with the operational needs of specific sectors.
For AI consulting firms, that positioning creates a marketing challenge: explain technical capabilities in terms of business outcomes while distinguishing implementation expertise from the crowded market of AI strategy providers. Silberman’s remit suggests Sol wants communications to play a more direct role in making its delivery model and industry specialization visible to prospective clients.
Aslansan said the company has built its reputation around delivery and now intends to invest more heavily in communicating that work to the market.
Silberman’s remit goes beyond media relations. By linking brand strategy, thought leadership and reputation management to pipeline growth, Sol is positioning marketing as part of its broader business development strategy.
That emphasis is relevant in enterprise AI consulting, where providers must demonstrate both technical capability and an understanding of how technology changes business operations. Buyers may face a crowded field of consultancies, systems integrators and specialist AI firms, making clear positioning and credible evidence of delivery important to differentiation.
Sol was founded in 2020 and describes itself as a technology-agnostic business and IT transformation firm. Its proprietary SAGE AI engine supports its Sprint 0 discovery process, which the company says produces implementation-ready plans in four to eight weeks.
Silberman’s appointment gives Sol a senior communications leader with experience managing public narratives for established entertainment brands. Whether that experience translates into stronger awareness and commercial growth for the consulting business will depend on the company’s ability to connect its messaging with demonstrable client outcomes.
Enterprise AI consulting is becoming a crowded market as organizations seek help moving from experimentation to deployed systems. Providers increasingly compete on implementation expertise, industry specialization, integration with existing workflows and the ability to demonstrate business value.
Sol’s focus on media, entertainment and AdTech gives it an industry-specific positioning, while its work in state and local government and education broadens its potential client base. Its AI Acceleration practice adds another layer to the offering by targeting organizations that need support moving from assessment to operational AI systems.
In this environment, marketing leadership is not simply about increasing brand awareness. Consulting firms must communicate what differentiates their approach, explain how services fit real operational needs and provide credible evidence that projects deliver results. Silberman’s appointment reflects Sol’s effort to strengthen that market-facing capability as its service portfolio expands.
Silberman’s appointment suggests Sol wants to make communications a more integrated part of its growth strategy. His experience across corporate communications, crisis management, publicity and brand positioning could help the firm communicate its AI implementation work to enterprise decision-makers.
The challenge will be translating technical offerings—such as agentic AI, workflow modernization and workforce transformation—into clear business propositions without overstating their impact. Effective positioning will need to be supported by case studies, measurable client outcomes and explanations of how deployments work in practice.
For the wider MarTech and AdTech ecosystem, the appointment also reflects a convergence between technology transformation and strategic communications. As AI becomes a larger part of enterprise operations, firms providing implementation services must explain not only what the technology can do, but how it changes workflows, governance and business performance.
