SEARCHEN NETWORKS® has been recognized in GoodFirms' September 2026 U.S. Digital Marketing Leaders Matrix, placing the West Palm Beach agency in the report's Upcoming Achievers quadrant. The recognition arrives as digital agencies increasingly adapt their services to a search environment shaped by traditional rankings, paid discovery, local results and AI-generated answers.
SEARCHEN NETWORKS®, a digital marketing agency founded in 2001, has been included in GoodFirms' September 2026 U.S. Digital Marketing Leaders Matrix.
According to the company's announcement, GoodFirms notified SEARCHEN NETWORKS on September 15 that it had been featured in the Upcoming Achievers quadrant. The agency reported a 5.0 client rating alongside scores of 45 for Core Competencies and 43 for 360-Performance.
GoodFirms says its matrix evaluates agencies across two primary dimensions. Core Competencies considers areas including service focus, portfolio depth and quality, and experience, while its 360-Performance assessment incorporates client reviews, market presence and the GoodFirms Score. The research firm's methodology also says its matrix is recalculated regularly and that sponsorship does not determine placement.
The recognition is notable less for the award itself than for the market in which SEARCHEN NETWORKS operates.
The agency has spent more than two decades providing SEO, paid search, local search, website development and maintenance, hosting and related digital services. Its latest positioning expands that traditional digital-marketing remit toward the emerging challenge of being discovered through AI systems.
That shift is becoming increasingly relevant as search interfaces change.
Google said in May 2026 that its AI Mode had surpassed one billion monthly active users globally and that AI Mode queries had more than doubled each quarter since launch. Google has also continued integrating AI Overviews and AI Mode into its broader Search experience.
For marketers, this changes the definition of search visibility.
A conventional SEO strategy generally focuses on how pages perform within search-engine results pages. AI-mediated discovery introduces another layer: whether a business, product or source is understood and represented accurately when users ask conversational questions.
Research from Pew Research Center illustrates why that distinction matters. In a study of U.S. adults conducted in February 2026, 60% said they had read AI summaries at the top of search-engine results. Earlier Pew analysis of Google browsing behavior found that users encountering an AI summary clicked traditional search results in 8% of visits, compared with 15% when no AI summary appeared.
Those figures do not mean traditional SEO has become irrelevant. Instead, they show that search behavior is becoming more fragmented across conventional results and AI-generated interfaces.
Google itself has introduced additional resources for website owners as AI becomes part of Search. In June 2026, the company said it was adding Search Console controls and performance insights intended to help publishers navigate generative AI in Search.
That environment is creating a broader category of work sometimes described as generative engine optimization, or GEO. The practical objective is not simply to rank a webpage but to ensure that a company's information is accessible, authoritative and contextually clear enough to appear across multiple discovery environments.
For agencies with long-standing SEO capabilities, this represents both an extension and a change in emphasis. Technical SEO, structured information, authoritative content, local search signals and digital reputation can all influence how an organization is represented across increasingly complex discovery systems.
SEARCHEN NETWORKS CEO and founder John Colascione described the change as an expansion of the traditional search challenge, arguing that businesses now need to consider conventional search, local results, paid platforms and AI systems together.
The GoodFirms recognition therefore arrives at a point when the definition of digital marketing agency is itself evolving. Agencies increasingly have to connect established disciplines such as SEO and paid search with analytics, content strategy, local discovery and emerging AI-search optimization.
For SEARCHEN NETWORKS, the next phase of its 25-year history will take place against that changing search landscape. The company's challenge, like that of other established digital agencies, will be translating established search expertise into strategies that work across both traditional and AI-mediated discovery.
The U.S. digital marketing agency market encompasses SEO, paid search, social media, content marketing, analytics and increasingly AI-oriented search services. GoodFirms' September 2026 research pages show thousands of U.S. agencies across its broader digital marketing listings, illustrating the scale and fragmentation of the market.
At the same time, search itself is becoming more conversational. Google's AI Mode and AI Overviews increasingly place generated answers alongside conventional links, while research indicates that users behave differently when those AI features appear.
This creates demand for strategies that address both conventional search performance and visibility within AI-generated discovery experiences.
The SEARCHEN NETWORKS recognition comes at a transition point for the digital marketing industry.
SEO agencies historically competed around rankings, traffic and technical optimization. The emerging environment requires marketers to think more broadly about entities, authoritative content, structured information, brand representation and how information can be surfaced by AI systems.
That does not replace established SEO practices. Instead, it adds another layer to the search visibility problem.
For agencies with established SEO and PPC capabilities, the strategic question will be how effectively those disciplines can be connected with AI-search optimization, local discovery, content authority and measurable business outcomes.
