RZR Global has ranked No. 2 worldwide in iOS gaming remarketing in the 2026 AppsFlyer Performance Index, placing behind Meta and ahead of other providers in the ranking. The recognition comes less than a year after the company launched its privacy-focused iOS retargeting product, which aims to re-engage lapsed mobile gamers without relying on device identifiers. The result highlights the growing competition to deliver measurable advertising performance on iOS, where Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework has made user-level targeting and attribution more difficult.
RZR Global, formerly known as Aarki, has secured the No. 2 global position in iOS gaming remarketing in the 2026 edition of the AppsFlyer Performance Index. The company describes the ranking as making it the highest-ranked iOS remarketing provider outside major closed advertising ecosystems.
The ranking offers an external benchmark for RZR’s recently launched iOS retargeting product. It also comes amid a broader transformation of the business, which has shifted its focus toward AI-powered performance marketing technology under CEO Aman Sareen, who took the role in 2023.
According to the company, it has replaced its legacy technology with a proprietary neural network designed to predict which users are most likely to return to an app and spend money. RZR has also invested in infrastructure intended to support faster, lower-cost campaign decisions. The platform now supports retargeting, user acquisition and connected TV advertising, extending the company’s offering beyond its established mobile retargeting business.
Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework requires apps to obtain permission before tracking users across other companies’ apps and websites. As many users decline tracking, advertisers have fewer opportunities to use traditional device-level identifiers for audience targeting and measurement.
RZR says its iOS retargeting product addresses this challenge by re-engaging lapsed players without relying on device identifiers. The company announced the product in 2025 and describes it as the fastest-growing product in its history.
Client results cited by RZR suggest potential gains in gaming campaigns. Highcore Games reported seven-day and 30-day return on ad spend (ROAS) of up to five times its target. Playtika reportedly re-engaged 5.5 times more users for Bingo Blitz, while Zynga won back two to three times more players.
These are company-reported outcomes rather than independently verified comparative results. Actual performance can vary by campaign design, audience, game economics and measurement methodology.
The AppsFlyer ranking builds on RZR’s previous appearances in the index under the Aarki name. Those placements included No. 1 in gaming across all categories in North America for Android remarketing, No. 3 in casual gaming globally and No. 3 in casino gaming in Europe.
RZR now operates three core product areas: iOS and Android retargeting, iOS and Android user acquisition, and connected TV. Sareen says the same technology engine used for retargeting is now supporting these adjacent offerings and the company’s expansion into industries beyond gaming.
For mobile marketers, the strategic question is whether RZR can deliver similarly measurable results across different acquisition channels and verticals. Retargeting performance depends not only on bringing users back, but also on distinguishing incremental returns from users who would have returned organically.
AppsFlyer’s recognition provides a useful industry reference point, but the ranking alone does not establish performance across every campaign or advertiser. Advertisers evaluating providers should also examine incremental lift, retention, profitability and measurement transparency.
Mobile gaming advertisers are balancing user acquisition costs with the need to retain and monetize existing players. Retargeting can help bring inactive users back, but marketers must determine whether advertising drives genuinely incremental engagement or simply reaches players who would have returned anyway.
Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework requires permission for cross-company tracking and access to the device advertising identifier for that purpose, creating constraints for conventional targeting approaches.
This has increased the importance of privacy-conscious advertising methods, predictive modeling and robust measurement.
The 2026 AppsFlyer Performance Index analyzed 27.2 billion installs from nearly 25,000 apps across 57 media sources. Its methodology also changed this year, using quarter-over-quarter changes in ad spend as a measure of quality rather than retention.
That methodological detail matters when interpreting rankings: they provide a structured view of media performance, but they should not be treated as a universal guarantee of campaign outcomes.
RZR’s No. 2 global position in iOS gaming remarketing places it among the leading providers in this category. Its competitive position will depend on whether it can sustain performance across different game genres, advertiser budgets and measurement conditions.
RZR’s ranking gives the company a stronger reference point as it expands beyond retargeting into user acquisition and connected TV. These markets offer opportunities to apply predictive optimization across more stages of the advertising lifecycle, but each channel presents different measurement and audience challenges.
For gaming advertisers, the most important evaluation criteria extend beyond re-engagement volume. Incremental conversions, player retention, return on ad spend and lifetime value can help determine whether campaigns generate lasting business value. Advertisers should also ask providers how privacy-safe signals are used, how results are attributed and whether performance is measured against a suitable control group.
RZR’s client examples are encouraging, but independent validation and transparent methodology will be important to substantiate the broader claims. The next test is whether the company can translate its ranking into consistent, measurable results across a wider range of advertisers and verticals.

Its iOS retargeting product aims to re-engage lapsed mobile gamers without device identifiers, addressing targeting challenges created by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.
RZR cites results from Highcore Games, Playtika and Zynga, but these client-reported outcomes should be assessed alongside independent measurement and campaign-specific benchmarks.
The company has expanded from its established Android retargeting business into iOS retargeting, user acquisition and connected TV advertising.
Advertisers should evaluate retargeting providers on incremental lift, retention, profitability and measurement transparency—not solely on rankings or re-engagement volume.
