PinMeTo is expanding its position in multi-location marketing through the acquisition of BrandWizard's customer portfolio, bringing those customers onto a broader platform for local search visibility, listings, reviews, social publishing and AI-driven discovery.
The transaction is structured around the transfer of BrandWizard's customer base rather than an acquisition of the company's entire business. PinMeTo said migrating customers will gain access to its wider product portfolio, additional platform integrations and expanded support capabilities.
The move comes as brands with hundreds or thousands of locations face a fragmented local digital presence across search engines, maps, social networks and emerging AI discovery channels. Managing those profiles individually can create operational challenges around information accuracy, reviews, content publishing and location-level visibility.
PinMeTo says it currently supports more than 1,000 brands across more than 125 countries.
Local search has become an increasingly important component of digital marketing for companies operating physical locations. A restaurant chain, retailer, healthcare provider or financial-services network may need accurate location information across multiple search and mapping environments while also managing reviews and localized content.
PinMeTo's platform is designed to consolidate those activities. Its product suite includes Listings Management, Reviews & Conversations, Posts, Store Locator & Local Pages, and AI Visibility.
The BrandWizard customer transition will also expand access to integrations with platforms including Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. The broader objective is to reduce the number of separate systems brands need to use to maintain their local digital presence.
The acquisition also reflects a shift in how local search platforms are adapting to AI-generated discovery. Traditional local SEO has largely focused on rankings and visibility within search results and map listings. AI search adds another layer, as consumers increasingly encounter business information through generated responses and recommendations.
PinMeTo's Places AI is intended to address that emerging environment. The company describes it as an intelligence layer that analyzes local performance, identifies opportunities and helps manage a brand's presence across search, maps, social platforms and AI-driven discovery.
The acquisition gives PinMeTo an opportunity to grow its customer base while introducing BrandWizard customers to a more comprehensive local marketing infrastructure.
For multi-location organizations, consolidation can be particularly valuable because local marketing involves both centralized governance and location-level execution. Corporate marketing teams need consistent brand information, while individual locations may generate reviews, updates and customer interactions that require rapid responses.
PinMeTo's expanded platform attempts to bring those functions into one operating environment.
The addition of AI visibility is strategically significant as the definition of local search continues to broaden. Businesses increasingly need to understand not only whether their locations appear in conventional search and map products, but also how business information is surfaced in AI-powered discovery experiences.
However, the acquisition's long-term value will depend on execution. Customer migrations can create disruption if data, listings, historical reviews or workflows are not transferred accurately. PinMeTo will also need to demonstrate that its broader platform produces measurable improvements in local visibility and operational efficiency for the incoming customer base.
For BrandWizard customers, the immediate proposition is access to more integrations and capabilities without having to build a new local marketing stack from scratch.
The transaction therefore represents more than a customer-base expansion. It highlights the consolidation taking place across local marketing technology as platforms attempt to combine traditional local SEO infrastructure with social management, reputation management and AI visibility.
As AI changes how consumers discover businesses, maintaining an accurate and consistent digital footprint across multiple discovery environments is becoming a broader marketing operations challenge.
