PharmaForceIQ has launched Optichannel 360, an AI-native commercial execution platform designed to connect pharmaceutical field sales, digital marketing, measurement and workflow execution in a single operating layer.
The Miami-based company describes Optichannel 360 as the first AI-native “answer-to-action” engine for pharma commercial teams. The initial packaged capability focuses on measurement, allowing users to move from a commercial question to a sourced performance answer and then route an approved action into an operational workflow. The company announced the platform on August 26.
The launch addresses a persistent problem in pharmaceutical commercialization: data from sales activity, digital campaigns, customer interactions and measurement systems frequently sits across separate platforms. That fragmentation can make it difficult for brand teams to determine why performance changed and what should happen next.
PharmaForceIQ is positioning its technology around closing that gap rather than adding another analytics dashboard. Its platform combines field and nonpersonal engagement data and is designed to connect measurement with decision-making and execution.
Optichannel 360 uses a connected decision model spanning field sales and digital marketing. PharmaForceIQ says the system is grounded in more than 200 million industry-contextual data points and allows commercial teams to interrogate campaign performance, identify potential drivers and preview recommended operational changes before they are routed to an appropriate owner for approval.
The distinction is important in a market where pharmaceutical companies have invested heavily in omnichannel engagement but continue to face challenges integrating data and coordinating field and digital activity.
The new workflow is intended to let users evaluate a campaign across its broader field-and-digital plan rather than assessing channels independently. Recommended changes can then move into governed workflows rather than remaining as observations inside a dashboard or post-campaign presentation.
PharmaForceIQ Chief Executive and Strategy Officer Hemal Somaiya said the objective is to give commercial teams a connected way to determine what changed, why it changed and what action should follow. COO Stephen Onikoro said the initial rollout will begin with existing clients.
The launch comes as pharmaceutical companies reassess how they coordinate personal and digital engagement.
IQVIA's ChannelDynamics Global Reference 2026 analyzed pharmaceutical sales-force activity and marketing-channel engagement using real-world engagement data from more than 30,000 healthcare professionals. Its latest findings indicate that companies are balancing digital channels for reach with field-based interactions that remain important to commercial engagement.
That environment creates a technology challenge: having more channels does not necessarily create a more coherent customer journey. Commercial teams need to understand which interaction, channel or message contributed to an outcome and then translate that information into the next engagement decision.
McKinsey has previously estimated that well-executed analytics-enabled omnichannel transformations can produce 5% to 10% revenue uplift and 10% to 20% marketing-efficiency improvements, although such outcomes depend heavily on implementation, organizational change and data capabilities.
The market is consequently moving from basic omnichannel coordination toward more dynamic optimization. PharmaForceIQ has used the term “optichannel” to describe an approach that selects channels and engagement strategies based on audience and real-world signals rather than attempting to maintain an equal presence across every available channel.
Optichannel 360 enters a market populated by established pharmaceutical commercial-technology vendors spanning CRM, next-best-action, customer data, marketing orchestration, analytics and AI.
PharmaForceIQ has strengthened its position in field orchestration through its acquisition of Aktana, whose technology includes AI-driven recommendations for field teams. PharmaForceIQ says the combination provides access to more than 200 million data points and expands its ability to connect field orchestration with digital engagement and measurement.
This gives the company a different proposition from standalone generative-AI assistants or analytics tools. The emphasis is on connecting existing commercial systems and workflows, with AI operating inside the execution process.
However, the competitive test will not simply be whether platforms can generate recommendations. Pharma companies operate in a highly regulated environment where data provenance, human approval, auditability and compliance are critical. A recommendation that cannot be traced to reliable evidence or safely deployed into an approved workflow has limited operational value.
The more significant development may be the shift in how pharmaceutical organizations define measurement.
Traditional commercial reporting often ends with an explanation of campaign performance. An answer-to-action model attempts to shorten the distance between measurement, decision and execution.
That approach could become increasingly important as commercial teams manage larger quantities of customer and engagement data. PharmaForceIQ itself reports that its platform serves more than 10,000 users across approximately 20 countries, although those figures are company-reported.
The challenge will be proving that faster decision cycles translate into better commercial outcomes without sacrificing governance. The value of an AI-native commercial layer ultimately depends on data quality, integration depth, adoption by field and marketing teams, and the ability to demonstrate measurable impact.
The pharma commercial-technology market is converging around several capabilities:
Optichannel 360 is attempting to bring these functions closer together, particularly across field and digital channels.
PharmaForceIQ's launch reflects a broader move from AI-assisted analysis toward AI-supported commercial execution. The next competitive phase is likely to focus less on conversational interfaces and more on whether AI can reliably connect evidence to decisions while keeping people responsible for approvals.
For pharmaceutical marketers, the opportunity is potentially significant: reducing manual reconciliation could allow teams to spend more time interpreting commercial strategy and less time assembling fragmented reports.
But adoption will depend on evidence. Vendors will need to demonstrate that unified decision models improve campaign performance, field productivity or marketing efficiency while meeting pharmaceutical governance requirements.
What is PharmaForceIQ Optichannel 360?
It is an AI-native commercial execution platform connecting pharmaceutical field sales, digital marketing, measurement and workflow execution.
What does its answer-to-action workflow do?
It connects a commercial question to a sourced performance answer and then routes an approved recommendation into the relevant workflow.
How much data does PharmaForceIQ say powers the platform?
The company says Optichannel 360 is grounded in more than 200 million industry-contextual data points.
What is optichannel marketing?
Optichannel marketing uses audience, behavioral and performance signals to identify the most relevant channels and engagement strategies rather than treating every channel equally.
Why is this important for pharmaceutical marketers?
Pharma companies increasingly need to coordinate field and digital engagement while connecting marketing measurement to actionable commercial decisions.
