PatientGain has launched PLATINUM, a fully managed digital marketing service designed for clinics offering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), IV Ketamine and Spravato treatments.
The service combines healthcare-trained AI agents with human project managers to support patient acquisition, education and marketing operations while operating under HIPAA-related privacy requirements. PatientGain says pricing starts at $1,699 per month.
The launch highlights a broader challenge for healthcare marketers: specialized treatment providers need to generate demand and educate prospective patients while operating within a regulatory environment where patient information requires additional protection.
For clinics offering newer or less familiar treatment options, the marketing challenge extends beyond lead generation. Prospective patients may require substantial education before requesting an appointment, while clinics often depend on local medical referral networks alongside consumer-facing digital campaigns.
PatientGain's PLATINUM service is structured around those requirements.
The platform combines direct-to-consumer digital marketing with AI-assisted patient education and human oversight.
According to PatientGain, healthcare-trained AI agents can handle initial inquiries and provide information about advanced neuroplasticity-based treatments. Human-in-the-loop oversight remains part of the process, with project managers monitoring campaigns and adapting marketing activity to individual clinics.
That hybrid model is notable because healthcare marketing presents a different implementation challenge for AI than conventional consumer marketing. Automation can improve response times and handle repetitive interactions, but the information being processed and the context in which it is delivered can require tighter controls.
PatientGain says its marketing systems and patient intake pathways operate under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), intended to establish contractual safeguards for protected health information when applicable.
The company also positions the service around local-market acquisition. Campaigns can be adapted to local demographics and a clinic's treatment offerings, while the service includes three monthly email campaigns as part of the managed program.
For specialty clinics, this creates a marketing workflow that spans several stages: attracting local prospective patients, answering initial questions, providing treatment education, capturing inquiries and supporting conversion into consultations.
The approach also reflects the increasing use of AI in healthcare marketing beyond content generation. Instead of using AI solely to produce advertising or website copy, PatientGain is positioning AI agents as part of the front end of the patient acquisition process.
The more significant issue for healthcare marketers is how AI-driven engagement can be introduced without weakening privacy controls or human accountability.
PatientGain's model keeps human project managers involved in campaign oversight while using AI to support initial patient interactions. That structure could become increasingly relevant as healthcare organizations experiment with conversational AI, automated lead qualification and personalized marketing.
The service is initially focused on a narrow but specialized market: TMS, Ketamine and Spravato providers. Those clinics must communicate complex treatment information to prospective patients while building referral relationships and maintaining local visibility.
The $1,699 starting price also places the offering within the managed-service segment rather than positioning it purely as a standalone software platform.
For marketing teams, the development illustrates a shift toward verticalized AI marketing systems. Instead of generic automation tools, specialized platforms can incorporate industry-specific workflows, compliance requirements and human review into a single operating model.
Whether such systems can deliver measurable acquisition improvements will depend on campaign performance, lead quality and conversion into actual clinical consultations. PatientGain's launch nevertheless demonstrates how AI marketing vendors are increasingly adapting automation around the constraints of regulated industries.
