Mimecast, a leading Human Risk Management platform, has rolled out AI-powered enhancements to strengthen its Advanced Business Email Compromise (BEC) Protection and Incydr data protection solution. These developments target growing cyber risks, combining natural language processing (NLP) with Mimecast’s longstanding defense capabilities to better shield organizations from both external and internal threats.
BEC attacks are a prevalent form of cyber threat, representing 25% of financially motivated attacks. Mimecast’s Advanced BEC Protection is designed to mitigate these sophisticated, often payloadless, attacks by continuously learning from communication patterns to detect unusual activity.
Mimecast’s Incydr solution now includes advanced NLP-based content inspection, enhancing its ability to detect and safeguard sensitive data, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Payment Card Information (PCI). These features allow companies to closely monitor and control confidential data movement.
