Listrak Studio Converts Figma Designs Into Production-Ready Emails

Listrak is targeting one of email marketing's most persistent production bottlenecks: the gap between creative design and campaign deployment.

The cross-channel personalization company has launched Listrak Studio, a Figma plugin that converts approved designs into responsive, production-ready emails inside the Listrak platform. The workflow is designed to eliminate the traditional process of rebuilding Figma layouts in email HTML before marketers can launch a campaign.

For retailers running frequent promotional campaigns, the integration could shorten the path from creative approval to deployment while allowing designers to continue working in a familiar design environment.

From Figma Design to Email Deployment

Listrak Studio connects Figma, the widely used collaborative design platform, with Listrak's email infrastructure. Designers can create an email in Figma and transfer the design into Listrak rather than handing it to developers for manual HTML reconstruction.

The resulting emails are designed to be responsive and tested across major email clients, including Outlook and Gmail. Listrak says the system can also synchronize content and images and provide design recommendations based on its email production expertise.

One practical focus is identifying problems that can affect email rendering before a campaign is sent. Listrak says Studio can flag issues such as Gmail and iOS clipping, allowing marketers to address layout problems earlier in the workflow.

That makes the product more than a simple design import tool. Its broader proposition is to connect the creative and execution layers of email marketing so that designers, marketers and developers do not have to repeatedly translate the same campaign between systems.

Why the Design-to-Email Workflow Matters

Email production remains unusually dependent on technical implementation. A design that looks correct in Figma does not necessarily render identically across Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and mobile devices, creating a production layer that can require specialized knowledge.

Listrak is positioning Studio around that problem. Instead of asking designers to understand email-specific HTML or requiring developers to reproduce every approved design, the platform handles the translation into its email framework.

The approach puts Listrak in a competitive space alongside email marketing and customer engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe and Klaviyo, where campaign velocity and content production are increasingly important differentiators.

Listrak's advantage is narrower but potentially valuable for retail organizations already using its personalization and cross-channel marketing infrastructure: the design workflow connects directly to campaign execution rather than functioning as an isolated creative tool.

Market Landscape

Listrak Studio reflects a larger movement toward reducing the operational friction between content creation and marketing activation. As retail brands increase campaign frequency and personalization, manual production steps can become a significant constraint.

The rise of AI-assisted marketing is also pushing vendors toward automated content operations, but Listrak's approach is different. Rather than replacing the designer, it preserves Figma as the creative environment while automating the technical transition into email production.

For enterprise marketing teams, that distinction matters. Creative control remains with designers, while marketers can potentially reduce dependency on developers for routine email builds. Listrak says the workflow could save more than 250 hours annually in email build time, although the actual savings will depend on campaign volume and existing production processes.

The bigger opportunity is organizational: connecting design systems directly to marketing execution could make the email production pipeline more scalable as brands increase personalization and campaign frequency.
