Latinx Consumers Drive Demand for Broader Digital Service Bundles

U.S. Latinx consumers are showing strong interest in bundled digital services as mobile and fixed-wireless providers expand beyond connectivity into streaming, entertainment and connected-home offerings, according to new research from Horowitz Research.

The State of Media, Entertainment, and Tech: State of Subscriptions FOCUS Latinx 2026 study finds that 34% of U.S. Latinx consumers currently bundle digital services, with home internet and mobile representing the most common combination.

The opportunity extends beyond traditional telecommunications packages. More than half, or 56%, of U.S. Latinx consumers say they would like a centralized place to manage their apps and services and would be likely to switch to a unified digital-services bundle if one were available. Horowitz says interest is even higher among Spanish-dominant and bilingual households.

Market Landscape

Digital-service bundling is becoming a customer-engagement strategy as providers look beyond connectivity to increase the value of existing relationships.

Among Latinx consumers interested in bundles, 39% identify the ability to manage services in one place as a leading reason. Another 35% want streaming services bundled together, while 31% cite price stability through locked-in rates.

The findings are particularly relevant to Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) providers offering 5G home internet. Horowitz reports that 17% of U.S. Latinx consumers have already adopted 5G home internet.

Among Latinx consumers who bundle services through their 5G home-internet provider, 42% cite the ability to bundle streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu or Peacock as a key reason. Another 34% point to additional provider benefits and perks.

The research also identifies demand for culturally relevant content. About 29% of U.S. Latinx consumers subscribe to a Hispanic-focused television package, including offerings such as MiEspañol from DIRECTV or YouTube TV Spanish Plus.

Strategic Outlook

The findings suggest that connectivity providers have an opportunity to compete on the broader customer experience rather than network access alone.

For providers such as T-Mobile and Verizon that offer 5G home internet, bundling entertainment, security, fitness and smart-home services could create additional reasons for consumers to adopt or retain broadband relationships. The strategy also creates opportunities to consolidate billing, account management and service discovery.

Convenience appears particularly important. A centralized experience could reduce the friction associated with managing multiple subscriptions while giving providers a broader role in consumers' digital ecosystems.

The opportunity is also tied to personalization. Latinx households are not a uniform market, and preferences can vary based on language, household composition and content needs. Horowitz's findings indicate stronger interest among Spanish-dominant and bilingual households, suggesting that culturally and linguistically relevant bundle design could become a competitive differentiator.

For telecommunications marketers, the strategic challenge is balancing bundle breadth with genuine consumer value. Adding more services does not automatically create engagement; providers need to make bundles easy to understand, manage and justify economically.
