The platform's AI layer, Sense, is designed to move experience analytics beyond dashboards and retrospective reports. According to Contentsquare, Sense identifies customer friction and growth opportunities, estimates their financial impact, and prepares actions such as emails, tickets and notifications within existing team workflows.
A new Benchmarks capability compares individual interface elements and user flows against industry peers, drawing on what the company describes as ten years of zone-level data. The goal is to help teams distinguish between a design difference and a difference that actually affects performance.
Contentsquare is also expanding Sense with Visual Stories, persistent context and memory, mobile access, and delivery of insights through Microsoft Teams and Slack. These features are intended to make recommendations available where teams work, rather than requiring constant monitoring of an analytics dashboard.
The most consequential addition may be native agentic experimentation. Contentsquare says Sense can formulate hypotheses, design and code variants, launch experiments, and evaluate their revenue impact, with human approval required to run the end-to-end process.
The company is also deepening integrations with experimentation and personalization providers Dynamic Yield, Optimizely and Kameleoon. These partnerships give customers options for more specialized testing and personalization workflows while using Contentsquare's experience data to inform decisions.
For digital experience and marketing teams, this creates a potential loop connecting behavioral observation, problem prioritization, experimentation and outcome measurement. But automated testing still needs guardrails: teams must validate hypotheses, protect against misleading results, and review changes that could affect accessibility, privacy or conversion-critical journeys.
The new platform is available in beta for selected customers, with broader access planned in phases. Its impact will depend on how reliably it can connect previously fragmented signals and translate its recommendations into measurable improvements.
Digital experience analytics is expanding beyond clicks, pageviews and session replay. As customers move between websites, mobile apps, support conversations and AI assistants, marketing teams face a growing challenge: understanding which interactions influence discovery, engagement and conversion.
Contentsquare's announcement builds on capabilities it introduced earlier in 2026 for analyzing LLM referrals, ChatGPT app activity and customer conversations. The latest platform brings those signals into a broader experience optimization model, adding agent monitoring, cross-session analysis, feature-level benchmarks and AI-driven experimentation.
The competitive landscape includes digital analytics, product analytics, customer experience management and experimentation platforms. Contentsquare's differentiation rests on combining behavioral data with proactive AI recommendations and execution workflows. However, its claim to have the market's deepest behavioral dataset is a company assertion, not an independently established industry ranking.
Contentsquare is positioning experience analytics as an operational system for continuous improvement, rather than a reporting layer used mainly to explain past performance. If Sense can reliably identify high-value problems and help teams test solutions, it could shorten the time between detecting friction and making changes.
The shift toward AI-agent journeys also raises new measurement questions. Brands will need to understand when AI systems discover or interact with their properties, whether those interactions contribute to conversions, and how to make websites usable for both people and automated agents.
For enterprise buyers, the practical evaluation criteria are data coverage, attribution accuracy, integration depth, experiment governance and demonstrable business impact. The beta release provides an opportunity to assess the platform, but claims about automated optimization should be judged against measured outcomes and the level of human oversight required.
Unified journey analytics: Contentsquare combines web, mobile, voice, chat and AI-agent signals to help businesses understand customer experiences across channels and sessions.
LLM and agent visibility: New analytics distinguish AI-driven activity from human sessions, helping brands assess AI referrals and emerging agentic commerce journeys.
Sense prioritizes action: The AI layer identifies friction, estimates potential business impact and delivers recommendations through tools such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Automated experimentation: Sense can propose, build and run experiments and assess revenue impact, subject to human approval of the end-to-end process.
Beta availability: Selected customers can access the reimagined platform now, while wider availability is planned in phases.
