With the acquisition of LMX, Connectbase expands its global connectivity market

Connectbase , the industry-leading connectivity cloud, is acquiring London-based LastMileXchange (LMX), expanding the Connectbase brand globally. Following this acquisition, Connectbase will have the largest global API ecosystem securely connecting buyers and sellers across six continents with more than 2 billion unique locations within The Connected World platform . Existing Connectbase clients will benefit from the expanded EMEA and APAC reach that LMX brings to the Connectbase platform, and LMX's customer base will gain access to the leading global connectivity market through Connectbase.

LMX provides communications service providers worldwide with cloud-based access pricing solutions that automate, accelerate and streamline the sales process from quote to order. LMX's reach enables the platform's customers to connect with more than 450 access resellers worldwide and processes more than 15 million offers per year. Connectbase is a cutting-edge marketplace that enables digitization and automation of the connectivity business. Connectbase's rich ecosystem of online buyers and sellers and quality location data and insights enable customers to conduct digital transactions with offers, orders and other services that drive growth.

This announcement marks Connectbase's first acquisition and the latest in a series of news related to the company's investment in developing platform capabilities and expanding services. In late 2022, Connectbase raised $22 million in Series C funding led by DigitalBridge Ventures. With this latest round of funding, Connectbase is expanding its platform capabilities, investing in its team and expanding its digital services to additional markets around the world.
