New Leadership Appointments at Bloody Disgusting
In a move to strengthen its brand and further solidify its dominance in the horror genre, Cineverse has promoted John Squires and Meagan Navarro to Co-Managing Directors of Bloody Disgusting. The two longtime contributors will take the reins of the brand's editorial direction, introducing new initiatives, and expanding the platform's presence across multiple channels.
In addition, Michael Roffman joins Cineverse as Executive Director of Advertising Sales and New Business Development for Bloody Disgusting, bringing his expertise to grow strategic partnerships and further elevate the division’s success. His impressive track record includes driving a 40% increase in direct sales in fiscal Q4 2025, aided by major campaigns from Sony Pictures, Neon, and A24.
Bloody Disgusting's Growth and Vision
Since Cineverse's acquisition of Bloody Disgusting in 2021, the platform has expanded from its roots as a horror website to a comprehensive 360-degree media platform. Today, it engages audiences through multiple channels, including a growing podcast network, social media platforms, live events, SCREAMBOX, and its publishing arm. SCREAMBOX, the company’s rapidly expanding streaming service, continues to grow its subscriber base with popular titles such as Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3, and recent premieres like The Coffee Table and Project MKHEXE.
