Centellian24 Expands U.S. Retail Presence as K-Beauty Demand Grows

Korean skincare brand Centellian24 is expanding its U.S. retail presence in 2026, adding distribution across major beauty and mass-market retailers as Korean beauty products continue to gain visibility with American consumers.

The brand, owned by Dongkook Pharmaceutical, entered the U.S. market more aggressively in 2025 and has since expanded into Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom and Costco. Its latest retail rollout comes alongside a global sales milestone for Madeca Cream Time Reverse, which Centellian24 says has surpassed 100 million units sold worldwide.

The milestone provides a significant marketing asset as the brand works to establish itself in the U.S. However, global unit sales and U.S. market performance represent different measures of traction, and the company has not disclosed U.S. revenue or unit-sales figures in the announcement.

Centellian24 Builds a Multi-Channel U.S. Footprint

Centellian24's U.S. expansion has focused on physical retail rather than relying exclusively on direct-to-consumer or marketplace distribution.

The brand launched at Ulta Beauty in May 2026, placing Madeca Cream Time Reverse in checkout displays across approximately 1,500 stores and making the product available online. Additional Centellian24 SKUs were subsequently introduced across 760 Ulta locations in August.

The retailer's scale gives the Korean brand access to a broad U.S. beauty audience while also providing physical product visibility. For a skincare company entering a crowded market, that exposure can be important because consumers often compare products directly on shelves rather than discovering them exclusively through digital advertising.

Centellian24 subsequently entered approximately 89 Nordstrom stores in June, offering products including Madeca Cream Time Reverse, Expert Madeca Cream PDRN and the Madeca Prime Ritual White Pearl device.

The company then expanded into Costco in July, placing Madeca Cream Time Reverse in approximately 200 warehouse locations and on Costco.com.

The sequence creates a diversified retail footprint spanning a specialty beauty chain, department stores and warehouse retail.

K-Beauty Competition Is Intensifying

Centellian24's expansion comes during a period of increased international interest in Korean beauty brands.

K-beauty has moved from a niche category into mainstream U.S. beauty retail, supported by social media discovery, creator reviews, retailer merchandising and growing consumer interest in ingredient-led skincare. Brands such as COSRX, Laneige, Beauty of Joseon and Anua have established substantial visibility in the U.S., increasing competition for shelf space and consumer attention.

The competitive environment means distribution alone is unlikely to determine long-term success. Brands need to establish differentiation around formulations, ingredients, clinical evidence, price positioning and consumer education.

Centellian24's positioning is closely tied to Centella asiatica, an ingredient widely used in Korean skincare and associated with soothing and skin-barrier applications. The company combines that heritage with pharmaceutical expertise through its parent organization, Dongkook Pharmaceutical.

That positioning may help the brand appeal to consumers seeking products that bridge cosmetic skincare and ingredient-focused formulations.

Madeca Cream Becomes the Growth Anchor

Madeca Cream Time Reverse remains central to Centellian24's U.S. strategy.

The company says the product has surpassed 100 million units sold worldwide. While the figure is substantial, it encompasses global sales and therefore should not be interpreted as an indication that the same level of demand has been achieved in the United States.

Its placement in Ulta, Nordstrom and Costco nevertheless gives the product exposure to substantially different consumer segments.

Ulta provides access to beauty-focused shoppers who may actively research ingredients and skincare routines. Nordstrom reaches a more premium department-store audience, while Costco provides a high-volume warehouse environment where value and brand recognition can play a greater role.

The ability to adapt messaging and merchandising across those channels could become increasingly important as the brand expands.

Retail Expansion Raises the Marketing Stakes

Entering thousands of physical retail locations also changes the marketing equation.

Digital-first beauty brands can rapidly test creative, audiences and product positioning online. Physical retail requires stronger forecasting, inventory management, merchandising and retailer relationships. Brands must also generate enough consumer awareness to support sell-through after gaining distribution.

Centellian24's strategy appears to be using a flagship product to establish recognition before expanding the assortment. The rollout of additional SKUs at Ulta and the inclusion of skincare and device products at Nordstrom suggest an effort to move from a single-product entry point toward a broader portfolio.

The approach mirrors a broader pattern in beauty: use a highly recognizable hero product to acquire consumers, then expand the relationship through adjacent products and routines.

Market Landscape

Korean beauty brands are benefiting from growing U.S. consumer awareness, but the category is becoming increasingly competitive.

Major retailers have expanded their K-beauty assortments, while social platforms continue to accelerate product discovery. At the same time, established Western skincare companies are responding with ingredient-focused products, clinical claims and influencer-led campaigns.

For Centellian24, broad retail distribution is both an opportunity and a test. Placement at Ulta, Nordstrom and Costco can accelerate awareness, but sustained growth will depend on repeat purchases, product performance and the ability to convert retail visibility into long-term brand loyalty.

The company's pharmaceutical heritage could also become a differentiating factor if communicated through credible product education and substantiated claims rather than relying solely on Korean-origin branding.

Strategic Outlook

Centellian24's 2026 expansion illustrates how K-beauty brands are increasingly pursuing mainstream U.S. distribution rather than treating America as a primarily digital export market.

The next phase will likely focus less on securing additional doors and more on productivity within existing retail locations. Maintaining inventory, generating repeat purchases and expanding the customer base beyond K-beauty enthusiasts will be important indicators of whether the current momentum can become sustainable growth.

The brand's 100-million-unit global milestone provides social proof, while its expanding U.S. retail network gives it greater access to consumers. The challenge now is converting distribution into durable U.S. brand equity.
