Aon plc, a global leader in professional services, has appointed Andy Marcell as CEO of Global Solutions. In this strategic leadership role, Marcell will spearhead the integration of Aon’s Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities to help clients navigate increasingly complex and interconnected challenges in today’s business environment.
Marcell will lead Aon’s Global Solutions, integrating the firm’s:
Reinsurance
Commercial Risk
Health
Wealth
Talent divisions
He will continue as CEO of Reinsurance until John Neal joins Aon on September 1, 2025.
Marcell remains a member of the Aon Executive Committee and reports directly to Greg Case, President and CEO of Aon.
Aon’s 3x3 Plan aims to build integrated capabilities that address client needs across both risk and people functions.
Greg Case emphasized Marcell’s key role in:
Aligning Risk Capital and Human Capital strategies.
Driving the firm’s unified approach through the "Aon United" framework.
Marcell joined Aon in 2015 and previously served as CEO of Risk Capital.
Successfully merged Commercial Risk and Reinsurance solutions under one umbrella.
