Nexstar Media Group has completed the deployment of ATSC 3.0 (NextGen TV) in the Cleveland television market, making it the final top-25 U.S. designated market area (DMA) to adopt the next-generation broadcast standard. Nexstar Media Group has announced the successful launch of ATSC 3.0, also known as NextGen TV, in the Cleveland, Ohio, television market, completing deployment across all of the nation's top 25 designated market areas (DMAs). Cleveland had remained the largest major television market without ATSC 3.0 deployment due to limitations in available broadcast spectrum and participation among local stations.
