LTK Unifies AI Search and Creator Recommendations in New Shopping Tab

LTK has launched a new Search tab in its shopping app that combines personalized discovery, AI-powered search and conversational shopping, creating a single interface for consumers to move from inspiration to product discovery and creator recommendations.

The update brings three previously distinct discovery behaviors into one workflow: browsing personalized interests, searching for products or broader ideas, and asking LTK AI for conversational recommendations. The company says the experience is designed for both shoppers with a specific product in mind and consumers who are still exploring what they want to buy.

The new Search experience reflects a broader shift in commerce from keyword-driven product lookup toward AI-assisted discovery. Google, for example, has expanded conversational shopping in AI Mode, allowing consumers to describe what they want naturally and receive product information, comparisons and shopping recommendations.

LTK Connects Search With Creator Commerce

LTK's Search tab is built around three discovery modes.

The first is interest-based discovery, where personalization surfaces creator content, products and brands based on a user's interests and behavior across categories such as fashion, beauty, home and wellness.

The second is product and inspiration search. LTK says its new AI-generated search overviews can surface creator content and product recommendations for both specific products and broader queries.

The third is LTK AI, a conversational interface that allows shoppers to ask questions and explore recommendations through natural language. A consumer could use the system to look for an outfit for a new job or explore ideas for a fitness routine rather than beginning with a precise product query.

The underlying strategy is to make creator content part of the answer rather than treating creators as a separate discovery destination.

LTK says its commerce intelligence graph is built from 15 years of creator-commerce activity and more than 100 billion signals spanning creators, consumers, products, brands and transactions. The company also says its network includes more than 500,000 vetted creators. These are company-reported figures rather than independently verified market measurements.

That data foundation is intended to give LTK's AI systems additional context around creator recommendations and shopping intent. For creators, the expanded Search experience also creates additional discovery paths through interest feeds, product searches and AI-generated recommendations.

Early Search Activity Shows Higher Product and Creator Engagement

LTK reports that product click-outs from its Search experience to retailer websites have increased 84%, while creator-profile views originating from Search have risen nearly 50% since the company introduced the experience earlier in September.

The company also reports an 89% month-over-month increase in daily LTK AI users.

Those figures are internal LTK measurements and do not establish broader consumer adoption of AI shopping. They do, however, illustrate the behavioral connection the company is attempting to create between AI discovery, creator content and commerce activity.

That connection is becoming increasingly important as shopping interfaces move beyond traditional search. Google says its AI shopping experiences are designed to let consumers move from brainstorming and conversational questions to product comparisons and purchasing within the same broader ecosystem.

LTK's differentiation is the role of creator-generated recommendations in that journey. Instead of relying primarily on product catalogs and retailer information, the platform is attempting to combine AI with human-generated context around how products are used, styled and recommended.

Market Landscape

AI is changing the architecture of product discovery. Search engines, marketplaces, social platforms and commerce applications are increasingly using conversational interfaces to help consumers describe an intent rather than enter a precise product keyword.

Google's Shopping Graph, for example, contains more than 60 billion product listings and supports AI-powered shopping experiences across Search and Gemini.

Creator-commerce platforms approach the same discovery challenge from a different direction: starting with trusted content, recommendations and consumer interests before connecting those signals to products.

LTK's new Search tab places those two models closer together by combining AI search with creator-led discovery inside a single shopping interface.

Strategic Outlook

The competitive question for commerce platforms is increasingly how effectively they can connect intent, inspiration and action.

For LTK, that means making creator recommendations available earlier in the shopping journey while using AI to interpret open-ended consumer needs. The opportunity extends beyond search volume: if AI can understand a shopper's interests and match them with relevant creator content, the platform can potentially create additional paths from discovery to retailer click-out.

The longer-term challenge will be maintaining recommendation quality and trust as AI becomes more influential in product discovery. LTK's creator network gives the platform a differentiated source of contextual recommendations, while its commerce intelligence graph provides the data layer needed to connect those recommendations with products and shopping behavior.
