Bitdefender has expanded its European Sovereign Acceleration Program by adding fully sovereign Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services designed to keep security operations, customer data, and threat intelligence entirely within the European Union. Bitdefender has announced the expansion of its Sovereign Acceleration Program with the introduction of fully sovereign Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, strengthening its position in Europe's rapidly growing sovereign cybersecurity market.

The new offering enables organizations to receive continuous threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring while ensuring that customer data, security telemetry, and operational processes remain entirely within the European Union (EU).

Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is a managed cybersecurity service that combines advanced security technologies with expert analysts who continuously monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber threats on behalf of organizations. Unlike many managed security offerings that distribute operations across multiple global regions, Bitdefender says its sovereign model keeps customer configuration data, security events, telemetry, malware analysis, incident investigations, and operational workflows entirely within the EU.

Security operations are managed from the company's Romania-based Security Operations Center (SOC), allowing organizations to meet data residency requirements while maintaining 24/7 monitoring by European cybersecurity specialists.
